Greater Manchester Primaries: Kooth Transition Session (Year 5)

Kooth offers anonymous and free access to mental health and emotional wellbeing support to young people in the UK.

Kooth is available all year round to support with all things mental health and emotional wellbeing related, even outside of term-time.

These sessions are designed to be delivered to whole classes and will introduce young people across Greater Manchester in Year 5 to the Kooth service and how we can help them manage through significant transitions. There is a separate event with different dates for Year 6s.

If your students have already had a Kooth introduction session, it would be a great opportunity for a final reminder of the support available before summer begins.

This session will also introduce young people to what is mental health, feelings around moving up to Y6 in the next school year, and thinking about self care top tips.

We have planned 10, 30-minute sessions for you to share with your classes. These sessions will all be delivered on Zoom and you can find the information on the dates and times below.

If you would like multiple classes in your school to attend, please feel free to share the link you will be provided with other staff members, or encourage them to sign up for a different session if another date works better for their timetable.

Kooth is available in all boroughs of Greater Manchester for ages 10-25.
