The GM10 Tips for Talking are 10 key messages to support families’ and practitioner’s understanding, of the importance of talking to young children from an early stage.

The tips range from bump to starting school and highlight the small things we can do which make a BIG difference.

The Tips can be used by any practitioners who work with families of young children, midwives, to early help workers and early years practitioners, and can be used individually or as a full set of resources. They are part of a range of resources developed to support the GM Early Speech, Language and Communication pathway which is being implemented by all of the 10 Greater Manchester Local Authorities.

Dates and Times

These short free learning sessions are for all early years staff and will explain a little more about the GM10 Tips and how they can be used. The sessions will last between 30-45 minutes and are being offered at different dates and times across October and November.

Each of the sessions listed below are repeats of each other so please only register for one time slot.

Wednesday 3rd November - 20:00
Thursday 4th November -10:00

The webinars will take place virtually through Microsoft Teams and are FREE to attend. To sign up, please register your details on your chosen date.

These events will be taking place virtually. Details on how to join will be circulated to attendees in advance of the event.
