Event description

Description

The aim of this conference is to examine the current challenges facing social justice in Norwich, including homelessness, low wages, mental health, disability, and to explore how the voluntary sector can collaborate to confront these challenges.

This conference will seek to develop stronger links and networks between local agencies that work in the area of social justice, who may wish to gain a better understanding of one another’s work. We hope these improved networks and increased awareness will improve access to services, while we hope the workshops will identify what can be done to improve the support available through greater co-operation and knowledge across providers.

This event is free to attend and lunch will be provided.

This event is funded by:

- Lord Bishop of Norwich Discretionary Fund
- Roman Catholic Diocese of East Anglia
- Comic Relief Community Cash
- Living Wage Norwich
- Living Wage Foundation
- GMB

The hashtag for the conference is #socialjustice
