Aim of this Event
Update clinicians on the current evidence for assessing and managing GTPS / lateral hip pain in primary care in Nottinghamshire. Provide a space to review differentials and peer discussion.
Target Audience
First Contact Practitioners who manage MSK presentations - Physio's, Paramedics, GPs, ACPs and Nurse Practitioners.
Objectives
- Discuss the current evidence for assessing and managing greater trochanteric pain syndrome
- Red flags and differentials to consider in primary care
- Discuss local management and Nottinghamshire pathways
- Evidence on Corticosteroid joint injections
