We're hosting the University of Sheffield's first sustainable and ethical careers fair. As anyone who has attended a careers fair or looked at a jobs board knows, fossil fuel companies and weapons manufacturers can dominate the scene. We want to show that it doesn't have to be that way and that the university can platform engineering careers that make a positive difference to the world and its people.

At this event, you'll have the opportunity to listen to presentations from and network directly with employers, many of whom are currently looking for student interns. We'll also be adding a new tab to our webpage (www.ewbsheffield.org) with a range of resources about green careers.

Currently the following companies will be attending: thinkstep (a Sphera company), BE Design, Spirax Sarco Engineering, Equipmake, Encirc,TradeBe, Recycling Technologies, LEDA (Leeds Environmental Design Assosciates), JBA Consulting, COWI, Grantham Centre, Notpla, AECOM, EMEC and RPS.
