Green Deal Direction Events
Would you like to get involved in the Green Deal but feel confused about what training and qualifications you need?
Would you like to know what career opportunities are likely to emerge as part of the Green Deal?
Would you like some impartial, clear, free advice to help you make a decision that benefits your business?
The free, half-day, Green Deal Directions events will help direct you to the Green Deal training you need and guide you to make an informed decision on the business opportunities that may be available in Green Deal.
Building on the success of the Green Deal Connections events, the Green Deal Skills Alliance (GDSA) is running a series of events to tackle the practical training requirements and issues within the green job marketplace following the launch of the Green Deal in October 2012.
The Green Deal Skills Alliance consists of three built environment Sector Skills Councils (Asset Skills, ConstructionSkills and SummitSkills) and is in a unique position to offer unbiased advice on training and how to take advantage of the emerging Green Deal market.
The GDSA represents the employers who will be working in the Green Deal and these events will address real issues that have arisen around training, skills and careers following the launch of the Green Deal.
