Green Drinks Manchester - with Corin Bell - Real Junk Food Manchester
Tue 21 March 2017, 18:10 – 19:55 GMT
March Theme: Food Waste
Guest Speaker: Corin Bell, Director of The Real Junk Food Manchester
In our third event, we will be joined by Corin Bell director of The Real Junk Food Project, Manchester. The project takes food that would otherwise go to waste and turns it into healthy, nutritious meals for anyone on a pay-as-you-feel basis. Off the back of their incredibly successful crowdfunding campaign to set up a permanent residence in Manchester, we are very excited about hosting Corin at Green Drinks and looking forward to hearing more about the project!
We will be at the Old Monkey from 6 pm, the 10-15 min talk will start about 6.30 pm, and we will be there for several hours afterward. You can pop in whenever you want, a quick drink on the way home or for the entire event! Come say hi!
Green Drinks is open everyone who has any interest in sustainability (academia, business, community, local government, student or member of the public). We want to create a supportive and positive place to chat with like-minded individuals, collaborate, and share advice that can help make our city, its businesses and its communities, become something that we can all be proud of. Welcome.
