This weekend event is for everyone and will include details of how to participate in the Green Economics Institute's Projects, Activities and Charity Work and be active in 2024 and beyond or how to support us, or to find out what we do and share in our vision for a nicer more sustainable and caring world for everyone and everything on the planet.

This event is in person with two sessions over a weekend- one on the Saturday June 15th 2024 10.00 am uk time to 18.00 UK time and one on the Sunday 16th June 2024.

We will provide additional study opportunities in the week before the conference and the week after. We will post more information about this shortly. There will be a charge for this as we will provide resources. We are currently taking applications for this. Please email if you would like to take part. We have offered a summer school in the past during this phase and we will provide details to everyone booking for the conference very shortly.

We will plan our activities for 2024 and 2025 and the Anniversary together and our campaigns and where to put the Institutes resources and efforts.

Come and discuss and have your say - this is the fourth time we have run this event there with a strong social and team building element. It was great fun last time and everyone enjoyed -dont miss it !

For all certification and CPD Certificates, ( the Conference will be suitable for CPD) this must be booked prior to attending the conference and this year we will be making a charge of £200 for attending the conference and to include CPD or any certification. We hope to offer some guided walks and also some yoga or similar sessions, perhaps Tai Chi etc.

Fees may increase as we get nearer to the conference so we encourage you to book as soon as you can.

We are delighted to welcome exhibition stands from kindred and supporting organisations for Saturday and Sunday of the event. The charge is £250 per exhibition stand excluding conference admission fees. Please email if you would like to apply. We will be posting an application form here shortly. Terms and Conditions will apply which we will publish shortly. For larger organisations with higher turnovers, we will charge £500 a day for exhibition stands in order to be able to provide room for you.


Walking and parkland

The Venue is in Reading and is surrounded by lovely countryside and areas of outstanding natural beauty. There is also a stunning view from the hotel and a lovely park opposite the hotel over the river. The hotel overlooks the Thames River and regular boat hour long cruises go up and down in front of the meeting rooms. There is an enormous amount of wild birdlife outside the hotel of exceptional quality. There are several walks outside the hotel on easy flat paths up and down the River Bank.


Visa Letters

We will be interviewing anyone via zoom who requests a visa support letter and there will be a charge for this service. All conference fees and GEI memberships must be fully paid up for 2024 before any visa letter will be provided. Full scrutiny will be made to ensure all visas processes are carried out correctly. Please do not hesitate to ask for more information.

If you require a visa support letter to attend the conference this year you will be required to provide a deposit of £200 returnable after 100% conference attendance in addition to payment of the conference fees.
