This is for you if you work in the green/sustainability sector, and can benefit from the masterclass topic.

Due to funding eligibilty this event is open to businesses working in the Green Technology sector in the West Yorkshire region.

At this event you'll be able to:

  • Attend the masterclass session in the morning.
  • Network with peers from the green business community.
  • Take advantage of one to one specialist drop in sessions in the afternoon.
  • Stay for the co-working with peers in the afternoon.

  • Introduction to carbon accounting
  • Overview of frameworks and standards
  • Carbon accounting basics (including scopes and boundaries)
  • How to calculate your carbon footprint
  • Interactive activity - setting your boundary and identifying data sources
  • Developing a carbon reduction plan
  • Using the carbon footprint & reduction plan to create business impact

We're delivering this masterclass series as part of the Growing the Green Economy in West Yorkshire programme, with the aim of:

  • Providing more information and skills on imporant and useful topics.
  • Establishing a friendly and inclusive environment, welcoming people from all backgrounds from across the West Yorkshire Green Business sectors.
  • Encouraging the sharing of knowledge, expertise and market intelligence to help green sector businesses grow and improve innovation.
  • Raising awareness of the support available to green tech businesses via the Growing the Green Economy programme.
