Green Health Workshop
Overview
This workshop will explore the meaning and benefits of green health and active living. Delivered by the Galloway & Southern Ayrshire Biosphere Partnership with South Ayrshire Libraries, our indoor session will discuss connecting with nature for physical and mental health, and locally available activities that support spending time outdoors.
Weather permitting we will take a gentle wander to the local pocket park (an easy, short distance on paved ground), so please wear appropriate clothing and footwear. Hot drinks will be provided for our group in Carnegie Libary.
This event takes place from 10am - 12 noon on Friday 30th January 2026.
For accessibility information please visit the library website: Carnegie library - South Ayrshire Council
This workshop is part of South Ayrshire Libraries 'One Small Thing' programme which includes a monthly Climate Cafe exploring environment, sustainability, and other green themes. Find out more about upcoming events on their Facebook page: www.facebook.com/salibraries
