FAQs
Are dogs allowed?
Sorry unfortunately, dogs are not allowed on site. With advice from our vet the decision has been made to not allow dogs on site. This is because at the end of the year, the maize crop will be harvested and turned into winter feed for our cattle and if any dog faeces were left in the crop of maize, this can cause the cattle to become very poorly.
Is there a smoking area?
We are a no smoking venue.
Is there wheelchair and pushchair access?
We ask you to bear in mind that it is a working maize field and so the paths may become difficult if the weather conditions have been poor. The picnic area is fully accessible as well as wheelchair accessible toilet on site. Please contact us if you require any further information.
When is last entry?
The venue opens to the public at 6pm. Last entry to the maize is 20.30pm and the venue closes at 22.30.
What will I need to bring?
We advise that you bring a torch with you. We also suggest an umbrella and wellies/walking boots if the weather has been unfavourable. Sturdy footwear is advised on any visit due to it being an agricultural field, the surfaces can be uneven.
Can I let my children go into the Maze alone?
No, due to the size and complexity of the Maze, all children must be supervised at all times. We ask that you respect our site and anyone seen to be causing any damage around the site or to the Maze itself, will be asked to leave the premises immediately. All damages will need to be paid for. Any child under 16 will need adult supervision and will not be permitted entry to the maize alone.
Do you issue refunds?
We are unable to issue refunds, however please contact us if you wish to cancel and we will do our best to reallocate your tickets, but we cannot guarantee this, and as a result, refunds are not guaranteed.
Can I purchase a ticket on site?
Tickets are available to book online only, however if you have any problems, please contact us through our Facebook page and we will try to help. No tickets available on the gate.
Are there toilets available in the Maize Maze?
There are no toilets within the Maze itself, they are located in the car park near the entrance of the maze. We therefore encourage you to use them before you enter the maze.
Can I buy a drink on site?
Yes we have a ‘Snack Shack’ on site serving tea/coffee/cold drinks/cakes/snacks and hot rolls on the evening that can be purchased and eaten on site in our dedicated picnic area. We ask that all rubbish is disposed of on the bins on site and that no litter is left within the Maze or around the site.
