About this event
A Green New Deal for the South West would transform the economy, create thousands of good jobs and protect the climate and land.
Molly Scott Cato MEP brings together South West experts, politicians, academics and businesses to start a conversation about an EU-funded Green New Deal. These are cross-party debates for dialogue and debate.
Join us at the Bournemouth event on the 12th september with:
Madeleine Greenhalgh, policy lead for Regen and the Electricity Storage Network, working to improve the policy environment for renewables, storage and smart technologie
Tahir Latif is a trade union and environmental activist, sits on the Public and Commercial Services Union (PCS)’s National Executive committee and is President of the PCS Aviation group.

Dr Molly Scott Cato, Green MEP for the South West of England and Gibraltar
The event will be chaired by Bournemouth councillor Simon Bull.
The event will take place in the Shelley Theatre's Mulberry Room, Shelley Manor, Beechwood Ave, Bournemouth BH5 1LX.
Available will be leaflets and bookmarks around the idea of a Green New Deal for the South West.
