What is Grounds Maintenance?

Grounds maintenance jobs involve looking after and improving outdoor spaces such as parks, open spaces and along highways. Tasks can include: Trimming hedges and trees, mowing grass, tree and flower planting, and operating equipment and machinery.

What are the eligibility requirements to take part in the training?

Essential criteria: You must be a Hounslow resident, aged 19 or over, AND be currently unemployed or in receipt of means-tested benefits. Desirable criteria: Driving licence, working outdoors, and working full-time.

Do I need any required qualifications?

No qualifications or experience is needed to attended this course however as part of the course induction, you will be screened for: · Numeracy Entry Level 2 · Literacy Entry Level 3 · Basic Digital Skills
