Transport & Address:
The minibus will be running as usual for anybody who wishes to get a lift from the Lido car park (The Rye, High Wycombe). The bus will leave at 10.00am promptly.
We will be working in the Glade at Gomm's Wood. We will meet on site at 10.15am and finish at approximately 1pm. We will meet on Herbert Road Service Road, next to the glade, look out for the Chiltern Rangers truck. Free parking is available on Herbert Road, there is no available parking on the service road. The nearest postcode is: HP13 7HW. Please park considerately.
Please can we ask everyone to arrive on time to ensure you do not miss the health & safety and task briefing. If you are late and the session has already started, you may not be able to join. Thank you.

The Task:
Spend the morning with Chiltern Rangers cutting back excess vegetation, raking and litter picking.
Timings (please note these timings are approximate):
10.00: Arrival for safety briefing, please don't be late!
11.30: Tea & coffee break
13.00: Work finishes, time to go home, thanks so much for your help!
What to Bring:
Please bring your gloves (we will have spares) and dress for the weather and the task.
Long trousers are advisable as there may be ticks and thorny vegetation. We also recommend wearing steel toe capped or sturdy boots rather than trainers.
Wear layers that you can remove if you get hot whilst working. Bring a waterproof as most of our sites have no shelter from the rain. If it's sunny you may need a hat and suncream.
Please bring a plenty of fluids. We will bring a tea kit and biscuits.
Please note:
Biscuits are served at all Chiltern Rangers sessions. Please advise if you have an allergy.
Sometimes there is a need for us to use power tools that can be noisy.
