Starts: Greenhill Library at 2pm.

Distance and time: 3 miles (4.8km). 1.5 hours.

Finishes at: starting point

Travel: Service 25: 13:09 or 13:21 to Greenhill Parkway / Gervase Rd from Arundel Gate stop AG9. 76: 13:05 or 13:17 to Reney Road / Bocking Lane fro High Street HS2

Parking: On street parking on roads surrounding the library.

Cost: free

Description: A circular walk that reflects how accessible wildlife rich green spaces are to urban centres in Sheffield. Starting and finishing at Greenhill library, walkers will discover ancient woodland, unspoiled stone walls, wildflower meadows and (possible) monastic ponds!

Terrain: Some climbing and descents. Largely gravel tracks and metalled footways / quiet roads.

Led by: Annie Russell, Living Streets Project Coordinator.

Limit: 20 people.

Difficulty: 2=intermediate

Theme: Wildlife, history.

Dogs: Welcome if on leads.

Bring: A flask and a teatime snack.
