An intensive two-day course that will give you a very solid grounding in all aspects of working with a greenscreen in cinematography, including:

  • a thorough understanding of how to set up and light a green/blue screen;
  • attending, and assisting with, an actual greenscreen shoot;
  • exploring how to light the talent, especially with regard to the intended context/background;
  • learning the basics of colour theory and compositing in Nuke;
  • learning more advanced techniques, pertaining specifically to greenscreen compositing;
  • applying the knowledge acquired to keying the foreground shot and compositing it convincingly over a target background.

The course will be held at Mosaic Soho’s brand-new facilities over two consecutive days (from 11 am to 5.30 pm) with a lunch break of one hour.
