In the second concert of the Mozart Greenwich Festival, the Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra of London performs the second of two concerts that feature Vivaldi's Four Seasons.

Tonight features Autumn and Winter from The Four Seasons; the popular works of virtuosic brilliance for solo violin, strings and continuo. The soloist will be our fabulous leader of PCOL, Tanya Sweiry, who will also direct the group.

The concert opens with Mendelssohn's youthful String Symphony No. 3 and also features Allegri's astoundingly beautiful Miserere that was originally written for choir but will be performed in a new version for strings. Also programmed is Vivaldi's energetic Concerto for Strings in C major and Mozart's stately Salzburg Symphony No. 3.
