Runway East's Liftoff series continues with a frank conversation challenging tech orthodoxies with Greg Marsh, founder of Onefinestay.
In a special RWE fireside with Alex Hoye, cofounder of Runway East and a long-time friend, the two will explore some of the highs that Greg experienced while creating an entire business model from scratch replete with midnight moped rides to replace lightbulbs and breakthrough moments.
However, they will dig more deeply into the less-publicised challenges that happen when you're 'locked in the casino with all your chips down on one number.'
With millions of other people's cash and 650 staff counting on you you feel there is no way to go but forward, what does that do to your decision-making? To your psyche? To your life?
Founded in 2009, OneFineStay offers carefully curated private homes across the world for short term rentals. It now has offices around the world, including New York, Paris, Los Angeles and Rome.
In 2016 Onefinestay was acquired by AccorHotels for a £117m, making it one of the latest success stories to emerge from London's tech community.
Greg will talk to Runway East founder Alex Hoye in front of invited members of the tech community, before opening the floor to questions from members of the audience.
