Description

Gregor Cuff ('cello), and Neil Kelley (piano)

Gregor was born in Halewood in 1961 and began learning the cello at the age of eleven. In 1993 he moved away to train for his present work as a priest serving in the Church of England. He is currently Vicar of Christ Church and Saint John, Waterloo. Though not a professional player, music is an important part of Gregor's life. After some preliminary lessons with Hilda Dold, he studied with the late Ernest Wallace (a long-serving member of the RLPO), then with Basil Howitt and Raphael Sommer. His current teacher is Peter Worrall, recently retired from the Halle Orchestra. In 2007 Gregor was awarded the Licentiate Diploma of Trinity College, London (LTCL) with distinction.
