Gregorian and Plainchant Workshop

Come and discover the beauty of Gregorian chant and plainsong in our second special workshop of 2025 led by renowned organist and music leader John Horton. With years of experience in sacred music and vocal training, John will guide participants through the timeless tradition of chant in a welcoming and supportive environment.

Whether you’re a complete beginner or have some experience, this workshop is open to all who are interested in learning the art of Gregorian chant and plainsong.

Sung Mass, which will include the pieces practiced at the workshop will be at 1200, followed by a light lunch.

This workshop is part of the St Margaret's Weekend, when we celebrate the feast of St Margaret of Scotland, our patron and everyone is welcome to come and sing at the Family Mass on Sunday at 10.30.
