🌿✨ Grief as Grace: A Black Women’s Audio Archive ✨🌿
Grief as Grace is an intimate listening event that centres the voices of Black women as they reflect on grief in all its forms — not only through death, but also the loss of identity, relationships, culture, safety, and self.
Join us for an evening of food, connection, and deep listening as we share the first phase of this evolving audio archive. The stories you’ll hear are tender, raw, and bold — recorded as reflections and conversations with curator Louise Hill-Davis.
This pilot event is rooted in Weston-super-Mare and made possible through the generous support of:Super Culture, The Other Place, LHD Facilitations, Bristol University, Race Equality North Somerset, Many Cultures One Community, Coastal Community and Creative Health, and the Arts and Humanities Research Council.
Whether you come to witness, to reflect, or simply to be held in community, you are welcome here.
