In this practical and uplifting session, Georgina Jones, founder of Grief Disco, shares a fresh approach to living with grief and the powerful role that joy can play in healing.

Born from her own experience after the death of her son Osian, Grief Disco helps people honour their loss while gently rediscovering joy through music, movement, and community.

In this hour, you’ll:

  • Learn what Grief Disco is and how it’s transforming conversations about grief.
  • Explore the connection between grief, vulnerability, and adult safeguarding.
  • Gain practical tools to support yourself and others with compassion and confidence.

💫 About Georgina Jones

Georgina Jones is the founder of Grief Disco, a movement helping people impacted by loss to rediscover joy and rebuild a meaningful life. Combining her background in coaching, wellbeing, and leadership with her lived experience of grief, Georgina is helping to change how we understand and respond to loss — showing that creating safe, compassionate spaces for grief can protect wellbeing and allow healing to begin.

This session will discuss sensitive issues about death and the grieving process and includes the speaker sharing their own personal experience. If you find any of the content distressing, please feel free to take a break and look after your own wellbeing.
