Be inspired by some of the UK's foremost wildlife gardeners - Kate Bradbury and Errol Reuben Fernandes with everything you need to know to garden better for wildlife. Wherever your plot is - balcony, ground or pot, you can help biodiversity. Followed by a panel discussion with Susanna Grant, Jon Davis and Steve Williams chaired by Tim Hewitt. A short Q&A, plus a bar and mingle till 21.00.
It's also a perfect moment to walk St. Mary's award winning churchyards with their multiple diverse habitat niches, created to foster biodiversity (over 20 bee species alone!) as well as enjoying the recently refurbished church with its listed monuments.
At St. Mary's we pride ourselves on a wildlife-centred approach, with a newt-filled pond; bird, bat and seed boxes; log and habitat piles; gravel garden and managed meadows. But we also like it to be pretty, we have been awarded the London in Bloom's Churchyard of the Year twice running.
Come for the talks, but stay for a wander!
A paying bar will operate before, during and after the event (venue closes at 21.00).
