Event Description:
How do we make decisions that truly honour every voice in the room? How do we create spaces where listening is active, consent is meaningful, and group decisions feel good for everyone involved?
In this session, Rowan will introduce practical tools and approaches for working collaboratively, drawing on experience with sociocracy, listening skills, and consent-based decision-making. There will be space for discussion, questions, and reflection on how these methods can be applied in both professional and personal settings.
Whether you're part of a team, a collective, or simply interested in more inclusive ways of working and relating, this session will offer insights and practices to take forward.
About the host:

She is a storyteller, interested in particular in the power of oral storytelling traditions; a founder and facilitator at Free We Grow, a self directed learning community which operates on sociocratic principles and where she found her passion for whittling and working with wood; and helps run Putney Community Gardens, converting urban spaces into gardens where she’s learning to grow food, forage, make crafts and how communities are forged out of diversity.
