Group Project Showcase

This event will give you an opportunity to meet teams of second year and MSc Computer Science students of this academic year.

The computer science group projects are year-long projects that are core to four degree programmes: BSc Computing Science, BSc Multimedia Computing, BSc Computing for Business and MSc Computer Science. Over the course of the year, students work in teams to carry out tasks involved in developing, evaluating, and demonstrating a substantial piece of quality software. This year, the teams are producing board games of their choosing.

We place an emphasis on both high quality software engineering as well as effective teamwork. At this time in the year, all the teams have passed the minimum viable product stage, and are expanding the scope towards their final software product.

Industry guests are invited to ask questions and provide feedback on the projects. This is an opportunity to interact with students who are looking for placements/internships and graduate positions (MSc students). A booklet with the details of the students presenting, brief CVs and their projects will be provided.
