Group Relaxation Hour
Overview
Join us for a mind and body relaxation, including breathing exercises, mindfulness and gentle group hypnosis. £15 per session, or £40 for the block of 4.

This event requires a £5 deposit to confirm your place. The ticket shows as “Free” here on Eventbrite because deposits are taken separately (this helps us avoid extra fees and keeps costs lower for you).
Once you’ve registered, you’ll receive a confirmation email with simple payment details. The remaining balance can be paid at The Calm Rooms on the day.
This small, supportive group is designed to help you properly slow down. Not in a “think positive and push through” way, but in a practical, nervous-system-friendly way that your body can actually respond to.
Each session gently blends guided breathing, mindfulness and group relaxation techniques, including light group hypnosis. You stay fully aware and in control throughout; this is about easing tension, not zoning out or being put on the spot. Think calm, steady, and quietly effective.
It works well if life feels busy, noisy, overwhelming, or simply relentless. You do not need any experience with meditation or hypnosis. You just need an hour and a willingness to stop gripping everything so tightly for a bit.
What to expect
Sessions are calm, structured and welcoming. You’ll be seated comfortably, guided through breathing and relaxation exercises, and led into a deeply restful state that allows your mind and body to reset. There is no sharing required and no pressure to “perform calmness”. You can just turn up as you are.
Over the four weeks, many people notice improved sleep, better focus, lower stress levels and a greater sense of steadiness. The cumulative effect of attending regularly is where the real benefit tends to land.
