Join us for a leisurely women's bike ride, about 5 miles taking advantage of Nottingham's Cycle Route (Mostly NCN 6) starting and finishing at Bulwell Forest Recreation Ground and riding around Mill Lakes. This ride is open to all self-identifying women who are Nottingham City Residents.
We welcome women of all ages, abilities and backgrounds, we ride at the pace of the slowest rider, stop for breaks whenever you want and promise you will never be alone at the back! One of us will lead, and another will stay at the back so we stick together as a group. This is the perfect chance to build confidence on a bike and meet other women.
Meet us from 5.45pm ready to ride at 6pm in front of the Childrens Play Area at Bulwell Forest Recreation Ground and depending on pace we'll be back for 7.30pm, see a google maps pin here.

You'll be in safe hands, between us we're qualified ride leaders and professional mechanics who love cycling. Before and during the ride we will be sharing all the tips and tricks to get the most out of cycling.
You won't need anything fancy, just a bike that rides and comfortable weather-appropriate clothing and some enthusiasm for cycling!
This ride is organised by Women in Tandem, a Community Interest Company based in Nottingham that aims to support and empower women to ride bikes. This ride is part of our Travel Well project in partnership with Nottingham City Council and funded by Active Travel England. All attendees will need to complete a registration survey before riding, you can save time by completing it first here, or you can use one of our devices when you meet us at the start.
