This Eventbrite form is for self-led group and school bookings only with no access to the veranda, garden room or garden area within the Visitor Centre.
For paid for/led school trip bookings, please contact iver.environment@groundwork.org.uk.
For garden room, garden area, veranda and packed lunches, please contact Natalie.Lister@groundwork.org.uk at least 7 working days before date of booking.
1. Maximum of 52 people (children & adults) per booking (1 coach)
2. Play Area is recommended for under 12’s use only
3. Veranda area is for Café customers use only.
4. We do not encourage entry to the water at any of our Country Parks due to the presence of protected species in the rivers and the risk of water borne diseases. Our water bodies are not regularly tested for pollution or other contaminants
5. To help support The Country Parks, please take all litter away with you.
6. The toilets are managed by Groundwork South, an environmental charity, please respect these facilities and leave them in a good condition, they are not a changing room. Additional cleaning services incur extra costs for this charity
7. If using coaches or minibuses, please ensure the engines are turned off when parked.
To help you to get the most from your visit, the following are available from the visitor centre:
On-site café selling hot & cold drinks, cakes, snacks & ice-creams.
Pocket money toys are available in the Visitor Centre.
Brass Rubbing Trail, 1 mile, starting and ending at the Visitor Centre. You can collect a map from the Visitor Centre.
Please be aware of the following:
Vehicles moving and working within the Park – The Country Parks Team or contractors may be working in the Park involving the use of tools, heavy machinery and vehicles.
Filming activity may be on site at short notice, you may be asked by the film crew to take a different route or to wait quietly for a short period.
If you have an emergency or need to contact emergency services:
The Emergency Services will only be able to access the Country Park with assistance from us
1. Please give Emergency Services the following information
a. Address: Colne Valley Visitor Centre, Denham Country Park, Denham Court Drive, Denham, Uxbridge, UB9 5PG.
b. Access to the Park is via the Colne Valley Visitor Centre, located to the left hand side of Denham Court Drive before reaching Buckinghamshire Golf Club
c. A member of either the Country Parks Team or Colne Valley Team will meet them to give them access to the Park and guide them to you – providing you have called us
d. Your Location. It will help the emergency services if you can provide the WhatThreeWords details for your exact location.
2. Call both the Country Parks Office / Duty Ranger and the Colne Valley Centre on the numbers below, so that we are able to give access and guide the Emergency Services to you. Please provide your name, mobile number, location, which Emergency Service you have called and what the emergency is.
a. The Country Parks Office: 01753 511060 ext 100 (located in Black Park Country Park)
b. If no reply call our Duty Ranger: 07734 734337 – manned 24/7 Emergencies only
c. The Colne Valley Office: 01895 832662 (located within Denham Country Park)
3. A member of either the Colne Valley Team or the Country Parks Team will make their way to you as quickly as possible & guide the Emergency Services to you.
