About this event

  • 2 hours

How can we ensure that we are continuously learning and adapting our practice and planning for effective evaluation? How can we  as well as make good use of the existing research evidence out there to demonstrate the impact and value of our Creative Health Work?

GROW is a once monthly training session, delivered online and utilising the principles of the Creative Health Quality Framework as a structure to explore all aspects of our work as Creative Health Practitioners. Sessions last for 2 hours to make learning manageable and bitesized. We also take an interactive and participatory approach to delivering our sessions.

In this session we will explore the principle of REFLECTIVE from the Creative Health Quality Framework.

How can we ensure we are REFLECTIVE in our work as creative practitioners to deliver most effectively with and for those we are working to support and influence with our work? How can we plan for reflective practice and effectively evaluate and quickly develop and change our practice in response to those we are working with? We will explore some evaluative methodologies and approaches as part of this session. We will also explore another principle from the framework: Creative. How can we seek to be innovative and creative in approach and delivery and keep conscious of challenging and testing our ideas?

The Creative Health Quality Framework consists of a set of downloadable PDF resources based around eight Creative Health Quality Principles. It offers clear guidance on how to use these principles to deliver safe and effective projects.

Funded by Arts Council England and developed by Creative Health consultant Jane Willis in collaboration with over 200 people including creative practitioners, participants, health commissioners, and researchers, it is designed to help anyone involved in developing and delivering creative approaches to supporting health and wellbeing.

Available at a range of price points, including a donation, to enable everyone to participate whatever their circumstances.
