For creative health practitoners who missed this session previously.

In 2024 we are launching our next round of GROW sessions as part of our CPD programme for those professional practitioner colleagues in Cornwall and beyond working in Creative Health and Wellbeing.

GROW will be a once monthly training session, delivered online and utilising the principles of the Creative Health Quality Framework as a structure to explore all aspects of our work as Creative Health Practitioners. Sessions last for 2 hours to make learning manageable and bitesized. We also take an interactive and participatory approach to delivering our sessions.

Introducing the newly released Creative Health Quality framework Funded by Arts Council England and developed by Creative Health consultant Jane Willis as a tool to structure and support excellence in our creative health practice. This session is focussed on sharing and exploring the framework together to understand better how we can use it to structure and enhance our practice and creative health professionals. In this session we will also explore the first of the 8 principles of the framework, asking, how can we effectively co-design and be truly person centred in the work that we do as creative health practitioners?

In this session we will cover :

1: An introduction to the 8 principles of the framework

2: Person Centred: How do we put those we are working with at the centre of what we do in the truest sense of the word? We will discuss co-design and delivery and working in a responsive and consultative way with participants of the activities we deliver as creative health professionals.

3: Creative: How can we experiment and make new ground in how we innovate in our work as creative health professionals? What are some of the key considerations to create the best conditions to encourage and support ourselves to be brave in how we work?

4: Collaborative: How can we find and work effectivley with the best possible partners and colleagues to create fantastic and engaging creative health projects and how can we do this well? We will discuss key themes and practice as well as sharing examples of excellence in collaboration.

The Creative Health Quality Framework consists of a set of downloadable PDF resources based around eight Creative Health Quality Principles. It offers clear guidance on how to use these principles to deliver safe and effective projects.

Funded by Arts Council England and developed by Creative Health consultant Jane Willis in collaboration with over 200 people including creative practitioners, participants, health commissioners, and researchers, it is designed to help anyone involved in developing and delivering creative approaches to supporting health and wellbeing.

Available at a range of price points, including a donation, to enable everyone to participate whatever their circumstances.
