Grow Jersey - Baton of Hope celebration gathering
Come join us at GROW Jersey for a heartwarming gathering! On Sunday 28th of September the Baton Of Hope is coming to Jersey and Grow are delighted to have been invited to take part. The Baton of Hope team campaigns for awareness and 'Bringing change and hope to the world because no one deserves to die by suicide.'
A large part of the ethos of Grow is tackling lonliness and isolation, physical and mental health, and providing opportunities to connect with nature and the wider community.
To celbrate the visit by the Baton of Hope we are holding a gentle celebration gathering at Grow. Come and join us for some shared food and some music, learn about Grow , see the progress we have made so far and find out how you can get involved, and then just enjoy the nature connection with our Grow community. We expect the Baton to be on site around 4.30pm for 30 minutes.
We'll have drumming with Siobhan Fogarty, some gentle music at the fire side, shared food, and great company. Whether you're a regular at GROW Jersey or new to the community, everyone is welcome to join in the festivities.
If you are able, please bring some food to share. We will have soup and bread, tea/coffee and cake.
