To provide an overview of Grow Well Choices Early Years

Provide an opportunity to become familiar with the session plans and supporting resources

View examples of activities, themes and work to assist delivery of Grow Well Choices

  • Grow Well Choices Early Years is a toolkit to support staff in early years establishments (nursery – primary 1) deliver learning around healthy lifestyles.Included is an easy to follow, specially designed storybook and fun games to reinforce key nutritional and lifestyle messages.

 

Expected Outcomes:

What can I, and ultimately the young people I work with, gain as a result of me attending this event?

To have an increased understanding of the links between Grow Well Choices Early Years, Food and Health and Physical Activity and the key messages linked to  curriculum for excellence

To have an enhanced understanding of Grow Well Choices Early Years toolkit

Be familiar with examples of session delivery, activities and key messages

Be provided with the Grow Well Choices Early Years story book to support delivery
