The social media session would focus on how to get people involved in your community groups and encouraging community engagement using social media

Teresa Carnall (TBC Marketing) will explain social media goals, what they are, how to make them and how to create a workable plan around them. She will look at audience types and how to create rapport with your audience online. She’ll also be covering Facebook Edgeranking, which is the method Facebook use to decide which (if any!) of your posts it will show to your audience. She will also cover how one simple step will help your posts reach whole new audiences for maximum exposure.

Refreshments will be provided and free parking available locally.

No need to print the ticket - just give your name when you arrive.

About Grow Wild - Grow Wild is the UK’s biggest-ever wild flower campaign, bringing people together to transform local spaces with native, pollinator-friendly wild flowers and plants. Supported by the Big Lottery Fund, Grow Wild is the national outreach initiative of the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew. Through us millions of people are doing something positive where they live; connecting with wild flowers, plants and places around them, taking notice of nature, getting active, learning new things and sharing their knowledge and enthusiasm. We believe that this simple act of creativity can turn spaces into beautiful, inspiring and colourful wildlife havens; encouraging people to care for and delight in the nature around them.
