About The Ventures Lab

The Ventures Lab work with ventures tackling complex challenges, whether that’s accelerating the shift to net zero, improving access to health and care, or creating more inclusive economies. Our focus is on helping people turn ideas into sustainable, commercially-minded businesses that deliver lasting social and environmental value. Our approach is tailored and long-term.

We support each venture through every stage of development, from early idea to investment readiness, offering access to patient capital, hands-on guidance, and shared professional services across areas like legal, marketing and business development. Alongside this, we help build high performing teams, connect ventures into supportive ecosystems, and create space for innovation to thrive.

We work closely with universities and enterprise networks to identify and support emerging ventures. While anchored in Scotland, they’re built to scale, bringing practical, place-based solutions to global markets.
