Our guest speaker, Simon Stevens will cover:
- Why GrowthAccelerator was developed
- Who can benefit from it and how
- What it will do for you and your business
- How it has performed so far
- What sector should I be in right now?
Simon Stevens set out in business in 1996 at the age of 25, setting up a magazine printing business called Symbian Print Intelligence Limited on his own which he grew into a £7.6m t/o company. Soon after, in 1999, Simon started a second business with four co-directors called Juice Creative Ltd which became a £1.2m t/o graphic design agency, both of which he has since sold for seven figure gains, one to a large plc and one in an MBO. Since then, Simon reacquired one company after its new plc owner steered it to almost total failure. He quickly took it back to profit once again - only to sell it successfully three years later once more, retaining shares in the company where he still sits as a non-executive director.
These days, along with two other non-exec roles with the MarComms sector, Simon helps other business owners achieve their dreams via Grant Thornton UK, one of the world's largest and most successful business advisory companies and GrowthAccelerator, a Government funded programme assisting the growth of ambitious and successful businesses.
Joining Simon for this talk will be George Constantopoulos, Director, SBR Consulting.
With over 30 years experience in consultative and solution-oriented sales, through a person-centric approach, business efficiency, and reliability, George has built strong executive-level relationships with customers. He has earned a reputation for managing and delivering complex and challenging projects in markets of diverse cultures on time with profitability. Through his strong business development leadership, empowering and motivating his sales and professional services teams, George was clear about adding value and articulating the excellent ROI to his customers. His efforts had bottom-line impact, winning him honors from international vendors including IBM, Google, SAP, and Cisco.
