Growing Your Own Business
With Julia LaRonde of Sisserou
Come along and join us on Thursday 30 March 10 am start for 12 pm finish at the lovely Caistor Hall Hotel, Caistor St Edmund, Norfolk for tea, coffee, cakes and great networking in a beautiful environment together with a fabulous speaker.
We normally meet on the first Thursday of the month, however as that particular Thursday falls in the school's Easter holidays we have taken the decision to hold our meeting on THURSDAY 30 MARCH, instead of the following week. So for our March/April speaker I am so pleased to welcome Julia LaRonde who is going to guide us through Growing Your Own Business with what has helped her most along the way.
When Julia moved to Norwich over 20 years ago from La Dominique/ Dominica in the eastern Caribbean to be with her British husband, she wasted no time in networking and joining local groups. Now the owner and manager of Sisserou, a company which produces and markets a rum based coconut cream liqueur trading both nationally and internationally http://www.sisserou.com Julia has much to share in her journey of developing a new product and brand of her own design in a new country.
Having worked for organisations supporting businesses and women in business, setting up various businesses herself Julia certainly knows both what it takes whilst also taking on the roles of caterer, admin manager, a general manager and a supper club host.
TV appearances on BBC’s Dragon’s Den and more recently on Channel 4’s Come Dine with me prove that Julia is someone who knows how to get things done. Once she has a goal set nothing stops her!
Join us to find out more about Julia’s approach to developing and growing her business with a focus on how the Norwich Credit Union has supported her through her endeavours to get her brand known and successful and how it can support you in growing your businesses.
