Growth & Development through the Ages CPD Seminar

Presented by Daniel Heritage, Joyce Miller, Sue Weber, Aurelie Marchand & Emily Norton


On this seminar you will look at the kinds of chronic and complex cases that often present for chiropractic care, but have little research. The course will consider growth issues, development delay and nutrition.

This course is accredited for 12 CPD Hours by the european academy of chiropractic. 


 

 

Seminar goals:

  • To obtain a greater understanding of normal growth and development across a number of ages.
  • Have a clear understanding of what can affect growth and development at various stages of childhood.
  • To develop new knowledge and skills that can be applied in clinical practice to help children of different ages with musculoskeletal health issues.

Monday morning you will have:

  • A greater understanding of what may be causing a child not to develop as expected.
  • Ideas and tools that can be applied to the management and treatment of children with musculoskeletal health conditions.

Speaker

 

Joyce Miller BSc, DC, FACO (USA) FCC (UK), Associate Professor is the Lead Tutor for Bournemouth University’s Masters Degree in Advanced Professional Practice (Paediatric Musculskeletal Health). She is also a certified Brazelton practitioner, completed at Cambridge University in 2006, and diplomat of Royal College Paediatrics/Child Health Paediatric Nutrition.

 

Daniel Heritage MChiro, PgCert, DC, MRCC has a private practice and is a part time clinical tutor at the AECC. His area of interest is care of the paediatric patient, especially those with special needs.

 

Sue Weber BSc, DC, MSc Chiropractic Paediatrics, FEAC completed her Masters in Chiropractic Paediatrics at AECC/ Bournemouth University and published her thesis in JMPT.

Course organisers reserve the right to make alterations to fees, arrangements and dates for teaching and learning sessions, including the decision to run all or parts of the course in the light of demand. In the event that the course is cancelled or re-scheduled by the course organiser, a full refund of fees will be given, but the college takes no responsibility for travel or accommodation expenses incurred by the delegate. 

If for any reason you are unable to attend the seminar please be aware that fees will be refunded, less a £10 administration charge, for all cancellations received at least 30 days before the event. Cancellations received after the 30 day period but 7 days prior to the seminar date will receive a 50% refund less the £10 administration charge. No refunds can be given after this time.
