The GRSG Annual Conference and AGM

About this event

The Annual GRSG Conference and AGM is back and we are Online and Live!

In December of this year, we will once again bring together the GRSG community to explore the wonderful world of geological remote sensing for our 32nd International Conference and AGM, this time under the theme of Progression Towards Quantitative Remote Sensing.

Whilst we all hope that the worst of the COVID pandemic is behind us, these continued uncertain times have meant that we are unable to hold our event in person at the Geological Society as we had planned and this year’s conference will be online.

But for those who are in London at the time of the conference, we do have in person networking events which will be a great opportunity to meet and chat with friends and peers in a relaxed and informal environment as well as a Virtual Social.

  • Icebreaker: 12th December, Glassblower Pub, Glasshouse Street, Piccadilly (cash bar)
  • Virtual Social and Quiz: 13th December
  • Afterglow: 14th December Location TBD (cash bar)

Please sign up to join us and enjoy a host of high quality live talks that will cover a range of subjects, including:

  • Geological Mapping
  • Mining applications
  • Oil and Gas
  • Geohazards and Engineering
  • InSAR and Ground Motion
  • Planetary geology
  • New Technology and Advancements

We are reviewing all the fantastic submissions and the draft agenda will be released soon

There are also sponsorship opportunities, to find out more please contact treasurer@grsg.org.uk
