Families interested in applying for a means-tested bursary at GSAL for Sept 2026 are welcome to attend this virtual information evening.

We offer means-tested bursaries for new pupils joining Year 7 and Year 12. Our bursaries are offered to pupils who rank highly in the senior school entrance exam (Year 7 bursaries) or have excellent GCSE grades (Year 12 bursaries) and whose families meet our financial criteria to ensure that a wide-range of pupils have the opportunity to attend the school. Across the senior school, over 90 pupils receive either a full or partial bursary.

The deadline for bursary applications for September 2026 entry is 30 September 2025. We would encourage all families interested in applying for a bursary to register to attend this virtual information evening and visit the school at our Open Doors event on Friday 19 September (www.gsal.org.uk/events)

After registering, we will separately send you the Zoom link to join the virtual bursary information evening a couple of days before.
