Event description

Description

Over the last 12 months, the Good Practice Team have run a number of review sessions of statistical publications (known as Scrums), for several organisations including Ministry of Defence (MOD), NHS Digital and the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).

A scrum offers producers of statistics a fresh, independent perspective, receiving feedback from other analysts across Government to improve statistical releases and working collaboratively to learn from best practice.

In this session, Paul Niblett from NHS Digital will share how his team has used feedback received from a recent scrum to make improvements to the report for the National Child Measurement Programme - the latest version of which incorporates many comments received.

Experienced scrum facilitator Claudia Wells and a representative from the GSS Good Practice team will also share a range of 'top-tips' picked up from the full programme of scrums run this year.

This free seminar is open to colleagues across the GSS.
