Objectives and Purpose:

This Member’s Day is the second of two linked Members Days on EPA, professional body accreditation and becoming an end point assessment orgainsation. Day 1 - EPA Policy and Practice & Professional Body Accreditation takes place on 26 July and can be booked by clicking here.

PLEASE NOTE: Logistics

  • You can attend either day or both, but you do need to book on to each day separately if you want to attend both days.

  • Every attendee will need to book a ticket to reserve a place

  • You can book different people on to each day

  • Space is limited to 50 attendees total - every attendee will need to register separately to reserve a place

  • You are welcome to offer places to staff in your GTA - we will only restrict numbers per GTA if we run out of space in the room.

Aims and Objectives

This members’ day will provide a detailed and practical workshop on the requirements and resources needed to prepare and organisations for delivery of end point assessment and advice on how to create the necessary staffing skills and structures needed for a successful EPA Organisation..

Audience - of interest to :

  • CEOs, Operational leads, assessor teams wishing to prepare for EPA delivery or wanting to understand in detail how an EPAO would operate.

  • GTA trainers and assessors wishing to understand EPAO requirements and how this will affect their role and create CPD / training needs

  • CEOS wishing to further understand the EPA Organisation principles, costs and resources in detail in order to assess the implications of becoming an EPAO.

  • These sessions will not provide any briefing on the content of individual EPA for any specific standard. Briefings on individual standards will be provided as part of Transition to Standards webinars or member days as assessment plans are approved and practice emerges

  • Both days are a mixture of technical input, discussions, practical exercises, GTA case studies
