Description
Take part in an activity with torches amongst the trees of the Railway Land. Suitable for adults, children and families. Parents and children should sign up as one to give as many people an opportunity to take part. Places are limited so sign up soon! If you don't get a ticket you can still come along, see if there is a space or watch the outcome of those taking part.
Weather allowing there will be star gazing with telescopes with the South Downs National Park and exciting images of astronomy courtesy of Sussex University along with practical science activities fun for children of all ages presented in conjunction with Lewes STEM fest.
Activities will run from 7.00pm until 9.00pm.
You DO NOT need to book for the science and astronomy activites so please drop in at any time.
If you are taking part in the outdoor activities we suggest that you bring a small torch and warm cloths and if it rains waterproofs or an umbrella - we will be going ahead whatever the weather!
PLEASE NOTE! Whilst LewesLight will do everything we can to keep you safe we will be venturing off the paths and as the Railway Land is a nature reserve participants take part at their own risk. Children MUST be supervised at all times.
