About this event
- Event lasts 3 hours 30 minutes
Part of Theatreship's guest nights - where contemporary artists take over the ship to highlight the stories they want to tell.
In this edition, violinist Knee Gnaw is joined by visual artists Evan Lawday and Karl Dando for a special live set and single launch, with support from songwriter and cellist August Cooke.
Here's some more info from them:
After two hull-shuddering sets last autumn, Knee Gnaw returns to the Theatreship, with an immersive show to launch the lead single from his forthcoming LP, Downtuning.
Joined onstage by two visual artists manipulating both organic and digital media, Knee Gnaw's layers of violin fuzz, broken chords and field recordings will commix with the improvised projections to create a unique, spontaneous and poignant moment.
With support from cellist and singer August Cooke.

We also offer arts supporter tickets, for those that can, to pay a higher price to support the venue, the artists who perform here and subsidised tickets for others.

We have dedicated staff on hand to help with stairs, and an onsite wheelchair once you’re inside the venue. If you have any access needs, please do e-mail us at access@theatreship.co.uk.
