Description

The College of Engineering Learning and Teaching Enhancement Centre (LTEC) at Swansea University have organised, and would like to invite you to attend a Guest Lecture being delivered by Ian Turner on 'Large Group Teaching' on Friday 26th January 2018.

Ian Turner is a National Teaching Fellow and currently the Head of Forensic Science at the University of Derby. Ian is active in pedagogic research, specifically in innovative teaching and assessment and gamification. Ian has produced an HEA guide on Large Group Teaching Tips. This session will bring to life some of Ian’s suggestions for engaging with large student cohorts.

The lecture is scheduled to commence at 10.00am and will take place in Room B001, Engineering Central in the College of Engineering on Bay Campus; time will be allowed for a Q&A session with Ian from 11.00am - 12.00pm, with lunch being provided at 12.00pm - 1.00pm.
