As part of our 'Suffrage in Egham' project, we are delighted to invite you to join us at the Egham Museum for a talk by Dr Kaat Smets, Senior Lecturer in Politics at Royal Holloway, on the advantages and disadvantages of lowering the voting age to 16.

The talk will cover a brief history of suffrage, how it has affected active and passive participation in politics, as well a discussion on lowering the minimum voting age.
