Guided Bat Walk

Are you batty about bats? Always wanted to spot one but never had the chance, or perhaps you are curious about these night-time marvels that can navigate in the dark'?

Borrow our bat detectors and follow our lead as we discover bats in their natural habitat and find out more about their fascinating behaviour!

Embrace your wild side - what to expect:

This event is suitable for both adults and children; children must be supervised by an adult throughout the event. The event will involve walking over uneven, mixed terrain in the dark.

What's at the Living Seas Centre?

The Living Seas Centre is our events hub near South Landing, Flamborough.

What to bring/wear

This event takes place outside so brace yourself for the Yorkshire weather! We'd recommend sturdy and waterproof footwear or wellies and lots of layers. You are welcome to bring a torch but red light torches will be provided.

Toilets and catering

There are toilets at the Living Seas Centre. Catering facilities at the LSC will not be open.
