Frequently asked questions
Everything is provided for you, cushions, eye masks, blankets. Just come in comfortable clothes as you'll be laying down.
A gong bath is a deeply relaxing, immersive meditation experience where participants are “bathed” in sound waves and vibrations from gongs, singing bowls, and other instruments. There is no water involved—just soothing sound that helps promote balance, harmony, and wellbeing
Most people can join a gong bath. However, it is not recommended for those in their first trimester of pregnancy, individuals with pacemakers, severe epilepsy, severe osteoporosis, recent hip/joint operations, or recent bone fractures. If you have tinnitus or are especially sensitive to sound, pleas
No experience is necessary. Just come with an open mind and allow yourself to relax and be present.
Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing. There are no special requirements—just be cozy and at ease
You will lie down while the gong and other instruments are played. The session typically includes a short introduction and guided relaxation, followed by the sound immersion, and ends with a few minutes of silence before gently returning to awareness
Experiences vary. Many people feel deeply relaxed, peaceful, or even fall asleep. Some may experience tingling, emotional release, or visualizations. Afterward, you may feel lighter, clearer, or more energized
Gong baths can help reduce stress and anxiety, promote better sleep, improve mood, support the immune system, and help clear emotional and energetic blockages
It’s perfectly fine to fall asleep. Many people do! The session is about relaxation and letting go. Snoring can be disturbing so someone might tap you on the shoulders to wake you up. It's best to be in a meditative state rather than fully asleep.
It is generally advised to wait until after the first trimester of pregnancy before attending a gong bath
