Join a member of the Stroll and Roll team on one (or more) of our summer evening rides from Todmorden. The rides will be on quiet roads and canal towpath. They will last about one and half hours and there will be a couple of small hills. We will be taking it slowly and we wait for everyone. E-bikes are welcome as long as you are happy with a slower pace.
Meet at Pollination street gardens at 5:45 - 6pm, ready for a 6pm set off.
The ride will last about one and a half hours. If you are cycling home afterwards then it is a good idea to bring a light.
Attendees must wear a helmet and bring their own repair kit. Please get in touch if you don't have either of these since we have spares.
Is my bike suitable for this ride?
Any bike is suitable but we recommend tyres of at least 35mm/ 35c since we will be riding on the towpath. Our leader will be on a mountain bike.
I'm worried this ride will be too hard for me
This is a slow paced ride, but we do recommend that you are used to riding your bike for an hour. If you are finding the ride too hard or not enjoying it then we will never be too far from Todmorden and our leader will be able to advise on the best way back.
