Guided Photography Walk

A guided walk with Dartmoor based photographer, Tom Dauben. This circular walk will take in Meldon Dam, Meldon Reservoir, the old limestone quarries and Meldon Viaduct.

You don’t need any fancy camera equipment, though if you have it by all means bring it along, a smartphone will do if that’s what you have access to.

The walk will be on well-trodden paths surfaced with gravel, and will have a short climb back up to the carpark at the end.

Attendees will be provided with a discount code for Tom’s book of landscape and nature images of the moor ‘Dartmoor Unedited’.

Distance: 2 miles. Allow 3 hours.

Start time: 1pm

Meet at: Meldon Reservoir Car Park

There will be toilet facilities at the start and end point, but no cafes or pubs on the route, though there are some options nearby at Sourton and Okehampton. Dogs are welcome, though please be mindful of others taking photos, so have them under close control.
