This series of guided rides will help you to find the best of the hidden but wonderful and varied trails of Kinnoull Hill and Pitmedden Forest with the support of a highly experienced mountain biker and qualified guide.
Level 2: The Level 2 series of rides is for women who are regular mountain bikers who would like to have the company, encouragement and support of other women in getting out on a regular basis to improve their skills and fitness, as well as the expertise of highly experienced rider and qualified guide who is able to immediately match the best trails to the rider abilities to create the best experience that balances challenge and fun, as well as give technique tips as needed that you learn at your own pace over the course of the series without the intensity of a coaching session.
The session locations will vary between Kinnoull Hill near Perth and Pitmedden Forest, near Abernethy so that you get to know the natural trails that there are at both of these locations so you can ride them yourself in future.
It is extremely important to The School of Flow to make sure that you do not feel out of your depth or under pressure to ride anything you don’t feel comfortable with at any time. You are strongly encouraged to say immediately if this is how you feel at any time.
You will need to make sure that your bike is in good working order in good time before the sessions start. The School of Flow recommends the following local bike maintenance services:
Douglas Carchie: Douglas Carchrie - Big Mountain Scotland
Mark Sinclair: Mark Sinclair - Bike Fixer
